Kate Common

I am an artist, designer and doctoral candidate at Boston University School of Theology. My research intersects feminist and queer theologies, social imaginaries, design thinking, biblical hermenuetics and ecclessiology. I am currently writing a dissertation on Church as a Holistic Community, exploring ecovillages and other forms of holistic communities as inspiration for a feminist vision of church. In addition, I am completing a film project, FORGiNG VOICE, that interviews pioneering feminist and womanist theologians as a pedagogical cool for theological schools and churches. forgingvoicefilm.org
