Michelle Berry Lane
Michelle lives in the Detroit area where she teaches science and nature studies to upper elementary children at The Roeper School, an independent school for children who have been identified as “gifted”. She is a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Pontiac, MI where she serves on the vestry and is involved in planning adult religious education. For the past 4 years Michelle has been a student in the Contemplative Leadership program of the Cardoner Institute in Lake Orion, Michigan. She is a poet and has had her work published by “The Ibis Head Review” (Vol 3:2), “The Wayfarer” (Vol 6:2) and in Ireland in “Woodland: The Magazine of the Native Woodland Trust” (Fall 2016 & Spring 2017). For her, Theopoetics feels like a natural space to inhabit as she is growing as a writer. In the fall of 2019, she plans to enter the new MA program at Earlham School of Religion in "Theopoetics and Writing".
