Evan Underbrink

Evan is a Catholic scholar of theology and aesthetics, whose interest in theopoetics extends back to the first theopoetics conference in 2016. Within the field of theopoetics, Evan is mostly known for his work on Dante. His current project is in constructing a theopoetic hermeneutic, which can be used to help us read texts, and ourselves, through a theopoetic lens. Evan holds a Masters in Theological Studies from Duke University, and a certificate in Theopoetics and Theological Imagination from Bethany Theological Seminary.
