Dave Harrity travels the United States teaching workshops on contemplative living, imagination and poetry. His book, Making Manifest: On Faith, Creativity, and the Kingdom at Hand, is a 28-day guide of meditations and writing exercises for personal spiritual practice and communal formation. He is the author of two books of poetry: These Intricacies (Cascade 2015) and Our Father in the Year of the Wolf (WordFarm 2016) as well as numerous publications in journals such as Confrontation, Killing the Buddha, The Los Angeles Review, Memorious, Revolver and Softblow. An assistant professor of English at Campbellsville University, Dave lives in Louisville with his wife and kids.
Dave is the recipient of the Kentucky Arts Council's Emerging Artist Award in literature and a recipient of the William Alexander II and Lisa Percy Fellowship at the Rivendell Writers' Colony.
