Ashley Theuring
Ashley Theuring is currently a doctoral fellow in the Practical Theology program at the Boston University School of Theology. Currently living and working in her home town of Cincinnati, Ashley hopes to maintain her dual identity as a scholar and advocate. She is visiting Faculty in Theology and the Assistant for Enrollment and Outreach at Xavier University’s Institute for Spirituality & Social Justice. Previously she has worked for years at a rape, crisis, and abuse center, "Women Helping Women of Hamilton County," as an advocate and educator. Her theological research focuses on exploring religious practices, meaning making, and survival in response to trauma.
Ashley attended the University of Dayton were she received her BA in Religious Studies and Psychology and has her Masters in Theology from Xavier University.
