Call for Proposals
There are at least 5 ways in which you might schedule to contribute some of your own work at the conference.
1. Give a presentation, talk, or performance
2. Offer a skills-based workshop
3. Host and facilitate dialogue on a topic
4. Deliver a PechaKucha
5. Be our Artist-in-Residence
Proposals are due by 11:59PM on Sunday January 13, 2019. Presenters, performers, and workshop facilitators from social groups that have been historically marginalized in the academy and American public life are particularly welcome. You will be notified by January 31, 2019 if your proposal is accepted or not and you must confirm your attendance by registering on or before February 10, 2019. Details via the buttons below.
To get a sense of the kinds of work that we have been supporting, check out this schedule of last year's events, noting the topics and themes. It may help you to get a sense of our ethos. Additionally, feel free to be in touch with Callid Keefe-Perry, who is more than willing to answer questions and encourage folks to put together the best proposals they can: excellent submissions help everyone.
